SUMMARY:North Shore Aboriginal Group Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The North Shore Aboriginal Group will be meeting on Wednesday\, September 28th at the Community Hall in Summerside.\nAt 7:30\, after the Business portion\, there will be an information session on the Marine Biomass Innovation Project. This is a unique interdisciplinary project that brings together rural\, coastal\, and Mi’kmaw communities\, academic partners\, businesses\, organizations\, and other partners to collaborate and co-develop novel products and processes from marine biomass. \nIn attendance will be: \n\nChief Terri Greene: Chief of Benoits Cove Indian Band and Ward Councilor for the Benoits Cove area\nSherry Dean: Ward Councilor for Corner Brook and the North Shore\nDr. Ken Carter: Director of Research and Engagement Grenfell Campus\nKathryn White: Indigenous community Liason( Bay of Islands) for the Marine Biomass Innovation Project\n\n
