The North Shore Aboriginal Group will be meeting on Wednesday, September 28th at the Community Hall in Summerside.
At 7:30, after the Business portion, there will be an information session on the Marine Biomass Innovation Project. This is a unique interdisciplinary project that brings together rural, coastal, and Mi’kmaw communities, academic partners, businesses, organizations, and other partners to collaborate and co-develop novel products and processes from marine biomass.

In attendance will be:

• Chief Terri Greene: Chief of Benoits Cove Indian Band and Ward Councilor for the Benoits Cove area
• Sherry Dean: Ward Councilor for Corner Brook and the North Shore
• Dr. Ken Carter: Director of Research and Engagement Grenfell Campus
• Kathryn White: Indigenous community Liason( Bay of Islands) for the Marine Biomass Innovation Project
