Join the Qalipu Environment and Natural Resources (QENR) department for Environmental Assessment (EA) / Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Information Sessions in Central and Western Newfoundland.

The first session is happening tomorrow, March 25, in Gander! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the EA process and how it impacts our province.

During these sessions, Andrew, our Environmental Monitoring Technician, will cover key EA-related topics, including:

• What an EA / EIS is
• The EA process at the provincial and federal levels
• The purpose of EAs in Newfoundland and Labrador
• How to access the EA Bulletin page on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador website
• QENR’s role in the EA process, including how we submit feedback

He will also open the floor for questions and feedback from attendees.
