Members who avail of Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) are advised that our offices will be closed for the Christmas holidays beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2026, and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on January 4, 2027.

During the office closure, new pre-approval requests for medical transportation will not be processed. Members who have appointments scheduled during the holiday closure through January 15, 2027, must submit their pre-approval request and all required supporting documentation by 4 p.m. on December 9, 2026.

Please note that the NIHB medical transportation program is not an emergency service. Eligible expenses may be reimbursed by completing a claim form and submitting it along with the required supporting documentation.
