🤩Happy International Women's Day!

Today we are going to highlight and celebrate Indigenous women trailblazers in Atlantic Canada.

First up, meet Sabrina Muise!

Sabrina is a L'nu youth from Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland). She is a fancy shawl dancer, song carrier, youth representative for Qalipu First Nation, and works as a youth coordinator for the People of the Dawn Indigenous Friendship Centre (@kaqawejyouth). She holds a Honors Bachelor of Sciences degree from Western University. Sabrina has been involved in community and culture since a young age and is committed to helping decolonize and rebuild Mi'kmaq kinship networks of her nation. In her free time she enjoys hiking with friends and playing cards with her mom and nan.
